Algester electorate

The Algester electorate includes part or all of the Northern Logan and Southern Brisbane suburbs of Algester, Archerfield, Acacia Ridge, Calamvale, Parkinson, Larapinta, Pallara, Forest Lake, Heathwood, Forestdale, Hillcrest, Browns Plains, Regents Park, Willawong and Rocklea. The suburbs in the electorate are home to Aussies of many backgrounds including first Australians, multi-generational Australians and more recent migrants and the electorate contains a number of commercial and industrial precincts that play a vital part in the economic performance of Queensland.
 

Algester electorate is crying out for a State member who is committed to fighting for the residents of the electorate to be able to maintain the relaxed, affordable lifestyle that South-East Queenslanders treasure, while finding innovative ways for the electorate to be economically strong. However while Algester electorate is taken for granted by Labor Party and the current Labor member, we will only ever be one of the numbers in Queensland Parliament. It is with an independent member who listens to what the people rather than what the Party want, that Algester will truly be a great place to live.
